Video: The Gorgeous GP-5 Racer At Reno 2010

 This video is a great opportunity to see the rare and beautiful GP-5 racer when it was at Reno in 2010. The airplane ran into engine troubles before it was able to get qualified, but it's still very cool that after many years in race limbo, the airplane finally got some time out on the course.

 I'm still trying to get definitive info on the GP-5 to see if it might be racing at Reno 2011 in less than two weeks... I haven't received a direct answer just yet, but I have an informant that puts its chances at about 20%. I'll do a follow up post on the airplane if I hear anything more encouraging than that. I sure hope it gets another chance to play the speed game : )
