Caption Contest #76 - Ends Wednesday 7.4.12 At 9PM EDT

It's a little risky posting a Caption Contest with the holiday coming up (especially when I'm getting it posted late in the day) but I'm gonna trust that there's plenty of creative avgeeks out there just waiting for a chance to have some fun with this NASA Moon minibike concept from way back in the day. Just imagine how much fun this was doing low-g testing in a vomit comet!

And with Oshkosh coming in just a few weeks, this may be your last chance to win this silly little avgeek game and fetch up your very own bacon sandwich at OSH12 just for being voted the winner!

So, you've got til Wednesday evening at 9pm EDT to submit your clever/funny/cool captions. Then, I’ll pick the best 5 and put ’em in a poll for everyone to vote on for all day Thursday and Friday so we can find the winner.

 The Rules:

1) Max of 3 submissions per person

2) Submissions go in the 'comments' area

3) Game ends Wednesday at 9pm EDT

4) Keep it clean!

Then, anyone can cast their vote starting Thursday morning and running thru til 9pm EDT Friday. The winner will be posted Saturday morning 7-7-12. And remember, if you're gonna ride that thing, I want you wearing your helmet!

Going zero G meant that Bob would hold the world record for the longest motorcycle jump in history!!

Okay, this is going to be great! You got the camera? Okay, when I'm weightless, I'm going to pop a wheelie and do a back flip. You record it, and we'll put it on YouTube, okay? And if it doesn't work, we can still put on YouTube for a great "fail." Okay? Okay, here we go! Wait! Wait! Urrrrp! Oh, God! It's all inside my helmet, you guys.

1. Testing was going great until someone started playing Born to Be Wild.

2. NASA's only issue was the Helmet Law.

3. NASA Nursery Rhyme.....

Hey diddle diddle,
The Cat and the fiddle,
The Astronaut jumped over the moon,
The little Dog laughed to see such sport,
And the Dish ran away with the Spoon.
